The Tomboyama Nihonto Tanren Dojo (Dragonfly Mountain Sword Forging School) is located at:

The school is located about halfway between the small towns of Coquille and Bandon, and is only about 10 minutes away from the beautiful southern Oregon coast. The larger city of Coos Bay/North Bend is only 30 minutes away.

Our classes run from 9am to 5pm for the dates of the course. We will break for and provide lunch.
Students can find accommodation’s in all three cities. A list of some possibilities can be found here.
The Southern Oregon Regional Airport is only 40 minutes away, with service to San Francisco, California.
Dragonfly Forge is also only 10 minutes away from the world famous golf resort Bandon Dunes.

When are classes avalible and what are the cost and how long are they?

We will not be offering any more classes for the year of 2008 after our October Basic Forging Class as winter weather can make travel unpredicatable. We will be offering classes again in the Spring of 2009. Details will be posted on our website as they become available.
